Please take note of the following important updates and opportunities to give back this season:

Veterans Day – No School or HANAC
Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11, there will be NO school and NO HANAC in observance of Veterans Day.

Food Drive
PS2 is proud to participate in New York City’s Largest Food Drive, in partnership with City Harvest and the Daily News.

Drive Dates: Now through January 16, 2026. We are accepting donations of canned and non-perishable food items. All participating schools are entered into the Kids Can Help Competition, the top school in each borough wins a prize!

PS2Q Toy Drive
We are also contributing to the Toys for Tots program, run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. We are collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages, from toddlers through teens.

Toy Drive Dates: November 10 – December 2, 2025.

Please drop all food items and toys in the Main Lobby.
